Papa-K is a Kahuna (healer) and Kupuna (elder). He practises the ancient Hawaiian sacred healing arts of lomi lomi and la'au lapa'au (medicinal plants), which he was trained for since he was six years old by his grandfather and father. When he was young his elders recognized Papa as having the mana (spiritual strength) to be a healer.

Papa uses the HA, which is the breath of life, and the soft touch of lomi lomi. Through this he has enabled many to be pain free or rid of their afflictions.

Having taught workshops in Canada, Europe, the continental United States and other Hawaiian Islands, these days Papa works mainly from his home in Volcano on the Big Island of Hawaii.
